● Describe the history and impact of the particular vaccine.
o When was the vaccine created? How effective is it? Since it’s creation, how has this vaccine impacted the population?
● Discuss the current recommended CDC guidelines for the vaccine.
o Schedule, dose, needle size, injection sites, etc.
● Discuss potential adverse effects from the vaccine and contraindications for receiving the vaccine
● Define herd immunity and discuss its importance to the health of a community.
o What is the vaccination rate required to create herd immunity for your illnesses?
● Briefly discuss how you may discuss and promote a vaccine to a family who was hesitant about their child receiving the vaccine
